Our range of fire rated pivot door hinges allow the door to swing in both directions when used with push button or switch emergency releases. These are ideal for all types of property where privacy is required, yet quick access can be provided in an emergency without removing the door from its hinges or breaking down the door.

The uniquely designed sliding pivot door allows doors in existing frames to be double action – only 50% of the door width is extended away from the frame at 90 degrees, particularly useful where space is limited.

Internal doors should have a minimum opening width of 840mm (ideally 900mm clear width) that is unobstructed by the doorframe architrave. Swing clear door hinges can increase a door way width when space is tight.

Rising butt hinges can assist wheelchair users to close the door behind them when a self-closing system is not installed.
